My relationship to Yoga began over 15 years ago with a book. A friend would come over to my apartment once a week and with the book as our guide we began to explore the practice of Yoga. We really had no idea what we were doing. All we knew was that after the practice we felt at peace and alive.

Since that auspicious beginning I have had the honor of studying with some amazing teachers. I completed my first teacher training at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2002. Shortly after completing my studies at Kripalu I was introduced to Anusara Yoga. I was drawn to the way Anusara Yoga blended Yogic philosophy with precise biomechanical alignment. The more I practiced Anusara Yoga the more I felt my heart open and my body shift. In 2006 I became an Anusara-Inspired teacher after completing a teacher training with Todd Norian.

It is with humble gratitude to my students and teachers that I return to teaching in Brattleboro after the birth of my daughter, Jade. Being a mother has given me a whole new appreciation for Yoga and the many gifts it has to offer. I invite you to come explore the practice of Yoga with me and discover those gifts for yourself.

When we sit here in a
Circle and grow still,
The energy of Spirit
Fills us. Until we
Surrender to silence,
We stay on the choppy
Surface of the mind.
As the breath grows
Quiet, we go behind
Thought, beneath
Confusion, fear and
Doubt. When we sit
Here in a circle and
Grow still, the mystery
Of truth and vastness
Transforms our separate
Energies into one heart,
One consciousness,

One being, present
and fulfilled
